Matt Hoyle is an internationally recognized photographer known best for his rich story-telling portraiture. Those who work with Matt love how he connects with and directs talent regardless of whether they are high profile personalities or everyday people. Before shooting commercially, Matt was an award winning Creative Director in Advertising and he still applies his conceptual thinking today, whether he’s collaborating with clients in Entertainment, Advertising, Music and Editorial industries or creating his own fine art projects.

Matt’s photography has been recognized in Communication Arts, PDN Photo Annual, and D&AD for photography. Matt’s work has also won a Cannes Gold Lion, he’s been selected as one of the 200 Best Ad Photographers by Lurzer’s Archive, and has appeared multiple times in the IPA Best of Show.

Matt’s clients include CBS, Warner Bros, Comedy Central, Columbia Records, Discovery Channel, New York Mag, Entertainment Weekly, Wired, Fast Company, Esquire, Billboard, Rolling Stone, JWT NY, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, Publicis, BBDO, GSD&M, Fallon and more. He has photographed campaigns for major brands such as Fed Ex, Castrol, Visa, Epson, BMW, Jim Beam, Cadbury, Procter & Gamble, Mini Cooper, Jim Beam, Roche and others.

Matt’s personal work has been hung in the National Portrait Gallery (London), the Farmani Gallery L.A., the Thomas Werner Gallery NY, and the Art Gallery of NSW (Australia) with solo exhibitions at Sous Le Etoilles NY, Point of View Gallery NY, Gulf Photo Plus Dubai, and Blender Gallery (Australia).
